Going Postal By Nikki 28 December 2006 at 10:49 am and have

I was standing in line at the post office on yesterday. It’s about 15 of us in line waiting for one of the postal workers to service us. There are only 2 postal workers at 2 of the 7 stations and/or windows available in the building, with a 3rd worker just sitting at a station doing nothing.

Why the fuck are there 7 stations and only 2 people working? Why build so many stations if you’re not going to have 7 employees to wait on people? And then you walk to the 3rd person’s station and they say, “I’m not open,” but yet you’re sitting there like you’re open.

If you’re not open, put a sign on your station saying that you’re not open. All of this is enough to make me go postal up in that place and I don’t even work for the post office.

And they they want to get a little funky attitude with you because they’re having a bad day. Okay, I have bad days too, but don’t take that shit out on me. Because just like you dish it out, you gotta be ready to receive it back, and I’ll damn sure give it back to you.

LOL! I try not to EVER go to the post office. For some reason it seems like I always get bad service and incorrect information. Then when I try to file a complaint…no one knows who is supposed to take it. LOL!
    Holla!

See, this is exactly the type of shit I’m usually talking about miss Nikki. No offense to folks who work in the public sector. But if you work in retail, post office, supermarket, fuck it, anything having to do with dealing with the public where folks have to come up to your station for business, having a bad day should NOT EVEN be in your reportoire.

I know that’s jacked to say, but the person who ends up catching the brunt of the public employee’s shit, is the customer. I hate to see a window with an employee there, no sign indicating that they are not open, and then get mad when someone steps to them. I can’t read your mind fugger! Put your stupid sign up.

It seems like they are trying to draw someone towards them so they can say something funky to you. I hate that Nikki.

I’ve never had a problem with the postmasters here in Greensboro. They are really friendly but the people that work at the DMV on the other hand, they could use some work. And the freaking cashiers at Wal-Mart, they are the worst. That’s why I started shopping at Target.

the post office employee’s actions are always the same, no matter where you go… these cats really act as if they do not want to be at their job… i hate going to the post office, truly despise it.

This is exactly why I hate dealing with people in service occupations.

My thing is: if you don’t like dealing with people, DON’T! Why subject the rest of us to your unhappiness with your occupation or your bad day, week, month or year?
