Super Bowl Bound

Yeah, baby! I’m a die hard Colts fan. Moreso because of Tony Dungy. I’ve followed his career for a while now and I’m happy that he and the Colts are going to the Super Bowl. The Patriots have been in thorn in the side of the Colts for a few years and now they get to sit at home.

And although I wanted the Saints to complete their Cinderella story and go to the Super Bowl as well this year, the Bears were just too much for them to handle. But I look at it this way, for the first time in history, two African American coaches are going to the Super Bowl. Gotta love it!

My only prayer is that these 2 teams can live up to the hype that is befitting both franchises of a SuperBowl game because that Colts vs. Pats game is going to be hard to beat. I almost felt like Manning, not trying to watch the final Brady drive… but this will be great. I’m hoping that Indy, Manning and Dungy can bring it in 2 weeks. I don’t think the Bears “d” can handle that offense… talk about 2 different teams in the Colts. The one from the first half and the one that siezed the game in the 2nd!

Though I’m a die hard G-Men fan, I do enjoy witnessing history. Hopefully, the conversation won’t be _entirely_ about two black head coaches. I remember when Doug Williams became the _first_ black QB in the Super Bowl. He certainly had a phenomenal game. Let’s hope the same holds true for Colts and Bears.

Hubby thought I was nuts, rooting for the Patroits. Although they’re about to make history, I just didn’t wanna see 2 Black coaches going head to head for the Championship.

I’m glad to see both the brothas doin’ the dayum thing, tho.

I really like Tony Dungy. I wish New Orleans could have gone all the way, but it looks like it will be a great game nevertheless.

i’m gonna roll with the colts. i’ve liked tony dungy for a while now. it would have been sweet to see the saints in there though :)

BlackBowl 2007. We’re guaranteed to win. Dungy and the Colts all the way, though. I’ve been saying for about three months that you can’t win a Superbowl with a quarterback named (or one who plays like) Grossman.

all i care about with regard to the super bowl is
PRINCE IS PLAYING DURING THE HALF TIME SHOW!!!!!

:-)

i’m sooo happy they (The Colts) made it! Finally!
