Has America lost their damn minds? Why is Sanjaya Malakar still on American Idol? It’s almost as if he’s daring America to vote his talentless ass off, but they haven’t yet. If it weren’t for Melinda Doolittle, LaKisha Jones, Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis, I’d swear this season of Idol has been one long episode of Punk’d. I keep waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come out from behind the curtain to let us know he’s punked us.

Don’t shoot me (or send your nutty neighbor to do it)…but I liked the mohawk…I thought it was cute! I remember him from his audition and he could really sing…I don’t know what happened…but I so enjoy seeing him there every week…cause it f’s with Simon LMAO…
Please send home the dude who looks like he’s from Blues Traveler, the white gospel singer, Phil-harmonic and the dude who wants to be like Justin T …but his voice cracks like a 12 year old boy…FIRST! Then yall can send home Sajaya LMAO

*gives DJ Diva the side eye*
What you talkin’ ’bout Willis? Sanjaya is the joke of the season! Boy can’t sing to save his life. Something must have happened to his voice since the auditions, because each week it just gets worse and worse.

He got lucky during the audition, they pick the song they’ll sing and it’s something they sing well. The true test comes when contestants are forced out of their comfort zone. Those will true talent shine no matter what song they sing and then you have Sanjaya. I saw on the news that there is some internet campaign out there that’s saving his ass. He’s developed some kind of cult following.

This isn’t a cry for help. This is sad. I seriously had boycotted the last two weeks of the show because America kicked off Sabrina Sloan, and I return to the show for this? Sanjaya looking worse than he actually did and actually having a bit of spunk to fight Simon with. The world is coming to an end, I tell you. Soon.

I don’t watch AI, but I’ve been hearing alot about this. In fact, just a lil while ago in the gym there was a big ol’ furor over this cat with the mohawk! The other thing I’ve heard is that this season has been one of the weakest too… daaag.

They always talk about that on my morning news…they pinpointed the reason though when they showed little girls in the audience crying like a flashback to New Kids on The Block.

You have got to admit he provides some comic relief
*dodging Nikki’s shoe*

I stopped watching it because of this nonsense.
Darbs : 29 March 2007 at 6:14 pm
Punk’d…you hit the nail right on the head with that one…LOL. Every week I find myself saying “that damn Sanjaya’” - it’s really startin’ to piss me off. But I can’t get mad enough to stop watching because of the very people that you’ve named in your post. Just. Don’t. Understand.

Nik, cut it out. lol This is the best thing to happen to television since Horatio’s sunglasses on CSI: Miami. It’s three reality shows in one — “Survivor: Hollywood,” “The Amazing Race (to Obscurity)” and American Idol. I haven’t had this much fun making fun of someone since the cafeteria back in junior high.
Go Sanjaya, you and your great television every week self.
*However, once you get kicked off, please believe I will be coming to see you since, because of you staying on, they kicked off my young fantasy female fixation, Stephanie Edwards. Grrr.
Ingrid : 31 March 2007 at 9:10 pm
*AHEM* That would be me. The campaign is called “Vote For the Worse” and Sanjaya is so danggone funny that after I vote for Lakisha or Melinda I spend the rest of the evening voting for Sanjaya. This is the first season I actually watched AI from the start and have to admit the look on the judges faces is worth him staying every single week. Gotta love interactive TV!

I won’t even watch this madness…
it is just stoopid! boooo….
