I know what you’re thinking. Is Nikki a swinger? No, so you can get your heads out of the gutter. I am not a swinger, although that would make for one helluva post today, but that’s not what this is about.

I have an upcoming photo shoot and the theme is Swingers. You know, like the Psychedelic Era? I’m setting up a room furnished with swanky retro furniture to give the appearance of a swinging singles pad, but I need feedback from you guys as to what else I may need in order to help make the shoot look as authentic as possible.

Wardrobe for my models is covered, thanks to retro boutiques and donations from friends, but I need ideas for the setting, like lava lamps, etc. Anything else that you can think of would be greatly appreciated.

Get some of those multicolored beads that hang down from a doorway….My momma loved them dang things…I hated them back then…but now I been wishing I could find some LOL

i think at swingers parties they used to have a bowel where everyone put their keys and they would hook up with whomever’s keys they picked up.

Miss Dom and Amadeo have the right idea. I think those velvet black light posters of panthers, black woman and black man or even some revolutionaries like Huey Newton or Malcolm X would be maaaad tight!

Those velvet zodiac posters with the sex positions for each sign. Man, my uncle still has those joints in his house.

I was going to mention the beaded curtains & shag carpet, but they are already in your comments. Bright colors & big funky flowers.
