Synopsis: This heart-warming holiday film is the story of Nancy (Gabrielle Union ), a loving single mother of three who falls for Benjamin (Morris Chestnut), a talented but struggling songwriter who is working part-time as a mall Santa. Conflicts arise when her oldest son, 10 year old John-John, convinces his younger brother and sister to join him in mischievous plots and schemes against their mother’s new boyfriend in the hopes that she will reunite with his hero – their rap-mogul father J-Jizzy (Charlie Murphy). Being narrated by Queen Latifah in a magical role of “Mother Christmas” opposite Terrence Howard, who plays a hard-to-dislike Scrooge-ish character named “Bah-Humbug”.

I think I’ve seen “This Christmas” before. It’s really sad when Big Mama dies. Oh, wait a minute . . .
should be some good movies.
Ahd Child, don’t make me hurt you coming up in here with some Soul Food outcome. LOL!
The Perfect Holiday had me at Gabrielle. Love her!! But when they threw in Morris Chestnut, they sealed the deal.
This makes my heart so happy.
I heard of This Christmas, but hadn’t come across The Perfect Holiday. At first, when you mentioned it I said, waitasecond. Latifah was just in a movie called the Perfect Holiday but that was last year’s Last Holiday! Dayum! Did you see the red dress she wore in that movie? She was absolutely killing it. I LOVE Latifah so I’d see it just for her. (Even though that flick was pretty sorry, I loved her character)
I’ve been waiting for some good colored holiday fun. I’m so glad that I’ll get to enjoy it with my husband this year. We’ll be in New Orleans so snow is out of the question but it should be fun.
are gabrielle union and morris chestnut under contract to ONLY do movies with each other?
