According to reports, the Jackson 5 are possibly planning a reunion tour for 2008. What’s this like the 100th reunion tour for them? How many damn reunions are they going to have?
And aren’t they a bit long in the tooth to keep doing those moves? The last time I saw Michael on stage, his moves weren’t as fluid as they used to be. He couldn’t quite complete his spins and he had to catch his breath between Moonwalks.
No doubt, they’ll probably sell out just for the simple fact that some people wanna see them together for the last time, but that’s what they’ve said in the past, “This is the last time.” Oh, and here’s a little Jackson 5 trivia: Jermaine was once married to Randy’s ex-wife. Talk about being my brother’s keeper.
And on top of that, Mike will be 50 next year. Something tells me that the famous Moonwalk will become the Moonwalker, because he’s going to need a walker to assist him if he keeps doing these reunion tours.

They’re brothers…isn’t it a reunion at every Thanksgiving and Christmas?

A J5 reunion won’t happen b/c MJ has always been reluctant to do this (he has caved in a couple of times). But it’s an effective way of staying in the news. Furthermore, MJ doesn’t need the work, though his brothers might. People need to stop saying he is broke b/c he’s not. Rumors of his demise are always GREATLY exaggerated.
