Should you have a background check run on someone you’re not even dating? My brother asked a friend of a friend to accompany him to a fraternity function. This lady had a background check done on my brother. And in her findings, she knew my name as well as my mother’s name. Why was this necessary?

Granted, she didn’t find one blemish in his background, but it’s not like my brother was going to date her on a regular. This was just as simple as escorting someone to an event. Can you believe the audacity of this chick? I don’t even know this woman and I’m pissed at the fact that she felt it necessary to have this procedure conducted for a one night event.

Tri, she actually told him that she did it. Then proceeded to tell him what his mother and sister’s names were. Needless to say, she’ll never be asked out, even as a friend, by my brother again.

This is like googling someone before you go out with them and then telling that person about the interesting things you found X(multiplied) by 10.

This is a crazy woman as far as I’m concerned, and he should be aware of this. Just imagine if he actually started dating her.

Nikki your brother should have left her azz wherever they were when she told him this lame ish! Who the hell is she to check someone out in a situation as casual as what you describe…makes me wonder if the roles should have been reversed and HE WAS THE ONE WHO SHOULDA BEEN DOING THE CHECKING. Sounds like chick is outta her rabid ass mind!

Sharon, had it not been a fraternity function, my brother would have probably cursed her out and/or clowned her severely, but he wasn’t about to act a fool in front of the elder frat. But I can tell you this, when they walked out of the door when the event was over, my brother told her to call someone to pick her up and take her home because he refused to.

If you are going to do a background check on somebody, why are you telling them? That was stupid. I know he is glad he dropped her as an associate.

If you do something crazy….DON”T TELL NOBODY! What a dummy. She thought that it was cute letting somebody know that she was insane. Your brother did the right thing by cutting loose so that she can go back to wandering the loony bin.
