Love by the Pound

How cool was it to see Barack and Michelle Obama give each other dap (a pound) last night before he gave his speech in St. Paul, MN? That little moment in time that they shared said to me, “In spite of all of the hoopla, we’re still just regular folks, and I’ve got your back no matter what.” And not only that, he gave her a little pat on the tush as well. Gotta love it!

Gotta admit, that is soooo cool. (although every time I look at that picture I can’t help but think about all the white folks who were watching them. I can just hear them thinking, “what WAS that they just did?” LOL!

that was so cool. It reminds me when Shawn and Gus from Psych gives each other *daps* whenever completing an achievement. Those two (Barack & Michelle) have taught me so much these past months on what it truly means by “keeping it real”.

EWWW Tiki - that was plain nasty. I remember that debacle.

Anyhoo… there’s a forward going around of a slideshow of about 16 pics of them together, with and without the kiddies. And after I got it, my Blackberry’s background is this HOT ass pic of them (not a candid shot) where Barack is in her ear and she’s just cheesing away. He looks like he’s saying some RAUNCHY shit and she’s just cracking up. LOL I love them. They’re great.

I love when married folks are still friends.

I can’t describe why this does something to me but it’s like you said, Michelle’s is down for her man. That’s beautiful…much more than just a campaign wife.
