I’m not much on watching military films. A Soldier’s Story, Platoon and Full Metal Jacket are about the only war films I’ll watch over and over. But the Spike Lee directed film, Miracle at St. Anna, set for release this month, has damn sure piqued my interest

Release Date: September 26, 2008
Cast: Derek Luke, Michael Ealy, Laz Alonso, Omar Benson Miller, Matteo Sciabordi, John Leguizamo, Joseph Gordon Levitt,

I don’t like those kind of films either, but I am a movie buff, and I’m going to have to check it out. Sounds interesting.

No Saving Private Ryan? I am interested in seein this Spike Joint, but it probably won’t be at the theater unfortunately. I like getting depressed in the comfort of my own living room…

I read the book a while ago. I would urge you to read 1st. It is amazing! I hear that Spike kept very close to the author’s writing.
