PSA: No Obama Shirts at Polls
Black folks love to look fly in their gear. Hey, I’m not gonna lie, I love to look spiffy in clothes as well, but I must stress this for the voting season……….do NOT wear your Obama t-shirts, pins, hats, etc. when you go to cast your vote in November. I don’t care how much you paid for your blinged out Obama tee, don’t wear it when you go to vote.
Why, you may ask? Because it is against the law and it is considered campaigning, which is only supposed to be done within 100 feet of the polling facilities. You will be promptly turned away and all the Repubs need is for you to not vote because you wore your Obama t-shirt, hats and/or pins to the polls.
And if you still want to be hard headed and wear your shirt on election day, put another shirt over that shirt while you’re in the parcking lot before you walk into the polling facility. We need your votes to count. Don’t get turned away over some foolishness.
That’s my PSA for the day, so let’s Rock the Vote in November!

Truthfully, I wasn’t planning on wearing my Obama gear before reading this, for that very reason. I also told my daughter to take her sign (that she jacked my dad for) out of our yard. They can assume all they want, but it’s none of their business who I’m in favor of. Plus, I don’t want any repercussions from some small minded, nit-witted individuals. I’ll just wait on my absentee ballot to arrive in the mail.

But until THE DAY…I welcome everyone to catch the last of my Obama T-line originally designed for women then for kids, babies and men. The tees are sweat-shop free and super soft! Fredric, thanks for that info. It clears up a lot, but I think just to make sure that no static occurs regardless of state, some people may need to leave the gear at home until after they vote, or wear a shirt over that shirt as stated before.
