Lights, Camera, White House!
Nov 10
So now that the Obamas are headed to the White House, who will be cast to play them in the biopic? Oh, you know there will be a movie or movies coming soon.
Fave and I had this little discussion on Twitter the day after the election, and my choices to play Barack and Michelle were…

Harry J. Lennix & Adina Porter
For those of you who may not know Adina Porter, she played Ricky in the HBO film Lackawanna Blues and she has a reoccurring role as Lettie Mae Thorton in the HBO series True Blood.
And to up the ante, Fave asked me who would I choose to play Barack’s parents. My choices were….

Isaach De Bankolé & Julianne Moore
Now, who would your choices be?

Harry J Lennix would be an excellent choice. only problem for me is i cant stand that dude lol
Naaaaah, not Julianne Moore. Barack strongly resembles his mother in the face. Winona Ryder or Ashley Judd, maybe?
Tiki, I’d pick Ashley Judd over Winona Ryder. I just can’t picture Winona in that type of role. Ashley would give more passion to the role than Winona.
Hey there!
The only person who can play Obama is Lenny Kravitz!! Yes…Lenny…in his FIRST acting role! Hey, don’t you remember when Oprah broke out as Sophia and shocked everyone with her acting skills? And Cher broke out in Mask and shocked everyone with her acting skills?
Yes…LENNY KRAVITZ will be the next Oscar winner playing Obama.
As for the actress who will play Michelle…I have to give it to that actress who played on “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”…the one who played Aunt Viv…
But if they get desperate then they could always call in Robin Givens to play Michelle… {sigh}
love all the choices cept Julianne Moore. But knowing Hollywood, they’re already looking at Will Smith.
After seeing the “Obama ’12″ pic on Frank’s latest entry, DEFINITELY Harry Lennix! Plus, his voice because of the raspiness? AAAND he’s from Chi-Town, DEFINITELY Harry!
Lawd, the raspiness. *sigh* Never had a President to lust after. BAD Tiki! BAAAAD!
Interesting choices!!
I saw Harry Lennix walking towards a Starbucks on Washington Blvd a few months ago. I said to my friend who was with me, “If they ever make a movie about Obama, he should play him”.
